Dear Friends and Family:
Today marks the 4th year that we lost our dear precious daughter Brenna. We would like to thank all of you who sent prayers, cards, donations and emails in her memory.
God has been so good to us and continues to be our strength and support. Jer.31:13: "I will turn their mourning into gladness;I will give them comfort and joy instead of sorrow."
Let us share a brief update: This week we heard from the house mother Valla. They have moved into the NEW BRENNA'S HOME and have taken in 2 more children. We have a 14 year old boy,Vania and his sister, Lilia, who is 8 years old. Valla writes
"Vania and Lilia are happy to be at the Brenna's Home and say that they don't want to go back to village. They like it here very much. They are eating well They are obeying. They are nice and talking much. Kola is happy to have a friend and they became friends fast.
All the children say hi. They are praying for you. "
There is another brother, Yura, age 7 of theirs who is in the hospital scheduled for surgery on his leg due to a fall. We will be taking him into Brenna's home as soon as he is discharged.
Pastor Victor is scheduled for open heart surgery tomorrow to have a bipass and valve replacement. Thank you to all who sent prayers and financial assistance to help with his surgery. The family was able to raise the funds to permit surgery. We ask for continued prayers as he goes through this difficult operation.
Rich and I have 2 scheduled presentation to tell about our most recent trip. For those of you who are local, we hope to see you at one of them:
